After hearing Elastic Heart, it did make me wonder what other songs I'd be interested in hearing Incubus cover.

I reckon they could do a great job with Years & Years' Shine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXTAn4ELEwM

Or LA Woman, too.

I can almost hear what their version of Good Times Bad Times would sound like in my head. It would be pretty cool to hear.

At HQ, I got to talk to Mikey briefly and asked him about how some parts of the Odyssey sounded a lot like The Mahavishnu Orchestra, and if they ever tried playing their songs. He said they would dick around with "Vital Transformation" but will never play it live because only like 10 people would like it haha. So that's the dream cover I'd like to see them play, especially since I know they know the song.

Another song I'd love to hear them play is a Genesis song like "Jesus He Knows Me" or "That's All." Or maybe an early one like "The Fountain of Salmacis." I dunno, I'm a prog head and after alabaster said Yes, all I can think of is them doing prog songs haha.

I never really thought about this a lot (or maybe I did and forgot), but the one songs that pops to mind is 'Synchronicity II' by The Police. Not even my favorite song by The Police, but I think Incubus can really nail this.

Just heard their cover of elastic heart. I did not like it, and I honestly can't think of a song they should cover next after hearing that.

I'm really digging their cover of Elastic Heart. reminds me of when theyd cover 'when doves cry' or 'protection' back in the day.

^ Jeff Buckley seems like a very good idea.

A Jeff Buckley cover would make a lot of sense actually. Ben used to work Nightmares by the Sea into one of his songs. Plus some of his vocal work in Supergrub is heavily influenced by JB.

Incubus would do a lot of his songs well;

The Sky is a Landfill
Witches Rave
So Real
Forget Her

I feel like they'd come up with an interesting rendition for "Lost in a Crowd" by Rusted Root.

The Weeknd - Earned It

I want to see what Brandon would sound like singing some modern r&b. I know the band can really groove with it.

Damn, in my head I could imagine Brandon singing it and I thought "this sounds almost like I've heard this before" - I'd completely forgotten this video existed!
