I don't think they'll ever play the setlists that fans like us want them to play. Really other than the club tour in 2007, they've never done anything special with setlists for an entire tour. They realize that 95% of their fans want to hear songs like Drive, WYWH, and so on. They might drop a couple rarities here and there, but that's all we're getting.

The point, at least for me, is not singles/hits, it's the same non-singles being over-played.

But again, I think Incubus play pretty good setlists. I clicked through a few from spring 2012 earlier and those were great.

Yeah, I mean I don't think they're perfectly to my liking, but I also try and be just the slightest bit self-aware and patient. By that I mean I try to keep in mind that perhaps it makes sense that rewarding tens of thousands of paying concert-goers is more important than pleasing the - what, 60 or so? - very particular denizens of one message board.

I agree. I'm fine with them playing 12 singles as long as the other 7 songs are Pendulous, Favorite Things, Leech, 11am, etc.

But it won't happen.

Not even that, but always Circles, Kiss, Wolves (I find it quite boring nowadays) gets boring. While they have such great songs hidden on any album.

I'd rather love to know how the energy was at these shows. That's a huge reason of why they're such a good live act.

Response to new songs?

On twitter, people are reacting very positively. At soundwave there were a few tweets that labelled them boring, but most were positive. I thought the reaction to Trust Fall in the Soundwave-video (check the Melbourne thread) was pretty good, considering it's new and it's a festival.

That Trustfall vid definitely got me pumped up. I think it definitely has a chance to become one of their heavy-hitters at their shows. I'm just dying to hear/see a higher quality vid of this/AC.

Me too, I'm a little bit surprised by the lack of video's from the shows.

However, a good sign. People should stop filming concerts any way.

100% agreed on Trust Fall. The more I hear that song, the more I love it. Seems to translate really well live too, at least from the vids out there.

They snuck Vitamin in there...

I know that ACLOTM is a cool song and all. Am I missing something though? I don't really look forward to hearing that one, and they seem to incorporate it frequently. There's such a vast catalog to choose from...

Personally I get excited every time I hear Crow live. That middle section is magical for me.
