As the recent poll said - not the best album, but I still think it's pretty solid. D&C isn't as bad as people say it is, and Quicksand/AKTSUO is up there with NTKY/Circles in terms of opening songs.

Doubt I'll give it a spin later, as it's the sort of album you need to be in the mood to listen to, but happy birthday LG!

With Rogues, Quicksand/AKTSUO, Anna Molly, Pendulous, Dig and Paper Shoes a very very solid album.

There are some weak points, but still very cool.

Say what you want, I utterly love this album. After defeating a badly illness this was the first album I could see live (since 2001) and I have a strong connection to it. By the way the "birthday" of it needs to be celebrated earlier, because in Germany we got it a couple of days before the USA

LG has some fantastic songs (Quicksand/Kiss, Dig, Anna Molly, Rouges, Paper Shoes) are all fantastic, but some of the other tracks are weakish. Also had some amazing B-Sides created during the same time. None the less, Happy 5th Birthday LG!

happy belated birthday LG... I guess you weren't so bad after all.. Smile
i stumbled upon this alternate artwork, done by the original artist, Alan Aldridge. I think it's swell! looks like a 90's trapper keeper

I haven't listened to this album for a very long time. And I don't think I would in the near future.

Me so elite.

No, really, I just don't like it.

Really? The colors make it look more like something I'd see on a teenage girl's school folder, along with a unicorn.

It's too bright and busy for an album cover.

Completely forgot what a trapper keeper was, looked it up, and laughed. So I basically restated what marsTravolta already said, sorry for the redundancy haha

Invert color. Suddenly 5x better, imo.

It looks much darker themed when the colors are inversed!

When you consider all of the brilliant "bonus" songs that in some sort of criminally-incompetent decision were left off the album in favor of Diamonds and Coal, this album is one of my favorites from Incubus.

recently listened to this not too long ago, and yea. certainly a fine record.

i think it coming after the magnificence of Crow does this thing a dis-service. i was expecting something a bit more adventurous after Crow, but this is still a really solid pop record. some great songs on it and the songs that came out of the sessions (Look Alive, Punch Drunk & Martini) are all great too.

but my lord, 5 years flew by. i remember all the hubub about this record's release.
