The cd arrived on my birthday. So great! It was a really big birthday, too! A few days later my life suddenly and drastically changed. I often think the most dramatic of all fan comments with regard to Crow: I'd be dead without that album! It took me about a year to listen to Morning View again after listening to that all the time from its release until Crow came out. That was because I suddenly related from personal experience to all of the pain, sadness, and beauty in MV. More accurately, my life would probably be quite different and not nearly as good as it is today, without this band. The fan community really helped me feel less disconnected, too. The beauty helps you get through the bad things, at least for me.

Happy birthday and cheers to Brandon, today. I believe he and the band have helped so many people, directly and indirectly! So thankful!

Love all the songs. Priceless was one of the best ever live songs!

Crow has the odd distinction of being my favorite Incubus album, yet has my absolute least favorite Incubus song, Zee Deevel. I absolutely love Southern Girl, though. That song is special to me and one of my best friends. So happy they played it this past summer.

Crow is tied with MV for my fav album of all time, every single track on the whole damn album is absolutely amazing. The flow is utterly perfect, this album is by FAR their most underrated piece of work... it truly has hid under MV's shadow for years now. That red and yellow artwork that symbolizes the whole album as a whole, really gives a dark, mysterious vibe to all the tracks. Happy 8th birthday Crow!

I attribute the fact that this is one of my favorite albums to not only the amazing instrumentation, but also the fact that Brandon's lyrics are much darker than usual.

I find Brandon at his most entertaining when he uses that dark lyrical bite, rather than always talking about love.

Duly spinning the album as we speak. Can't believe it's been 8 years...Crow still remains my favourite Incubus album.

Listening to the pure energy makes me yearn for a return to this sound.

As I've said before, Crow has always had a shit connotation for me - particularly the day it came out. Bad day. I haven't listened to it in full in a long time, but I did last week. A friend of mine has recently become Incubus obsessed and it's spurned a revival for me (one of many). For the first time, I feel like I heard it with "clear ears" and I had a glimpse of what so many of you love so much. don't get me wrong - I've always seen the brilliance of many songs, but I heard it as a whole without wanting to turn it off at any point. It was nice. Happy belated, Crow.

I've been listening to Crow alot in the past few months and don't you guys see this album as the "Dark side of Incubus"? especially with songs like Agoraphobia.

I still can't believe this album was the most hated Incubus album when it was released and now everyone loves it and call it the Incubus masterpiece.

Crow is a great album but there are some songs that i can't really get into. such like Zeedevel and Smile Lines. But what makes this album so unique i think is that it has this "Dark" thing that no other Incubus album has it.

Another thing that i am curious about is that if they wrote Megalomaniac and Pistola with Dirk? i remember reading an interview with Brandon in late 2002 and he said that they already had something for the follow up of Morning View.

This was asked a little while ago by someone else, they did not write either of those songs with Dirk in the band
