I'm just amazed that the people on there are still clamouring for a return to Science. You think you'd give up and look elsewhere after over 15 years!
Personally my ranking would be:
1. Dance Like You're Dumb - didn't think much of it at first but it's grown on me the most. I especially like when the drums kick back in after the "her body and brains like a good bashing"
2. Trust Fall - I've always been a huge fan of Mike's work and I think guitar-wise this is more interesting than anything from INNW
3. Absolution Calling - I think because I didn't listen to the live version of Trust Fall this one seems the least fresh. Again, I like the guitar riff, but there's not much else to this song.
4. Make Out Party - there are elements of this song that I appreciate, but nothing that I really enjoy. As its Incubus I'm sure I'll grow to like/tolerate it after multiple listens, but at the moment I can do without it. It sure does get stuck in my head a lot though

Ive tried to start discussions with several of these guys, to kind of underline the futility of their hopes, but its no use. How can you cling on to something 18 years old so much? It's one thing to hope the band plays songs from SCIENCE live, its another to expect them to bring that sound back to the studio. If you didn't like anything the band has done since SCIENCE/MY/MV, why are you still trying and hoping? It can only end up in disappointment.

| I finally saw this CD in a local store - FYE - and I thought it was funny that the regular price was $6.99, but get this, it was on sale! - for $9.99. I thought that was pretty funny. |
