Does anybody know how to listen to this month and a half old interview with Mike without using Apple Music? Is that even possible?

I just listened - sounded a pretty impromptu interview, Zane texted Mike out of the blue and then rang him up. Under a minute long, Mike said they're back in the studio writing songs and preparing for the tour, planning on playing multiple nights in smaller venues. Changing it up and excited.

Zane said he hears Incubus every Friday because his oldest son is obsessed with the band and is learning the songs on guitar. Mike said the band are always shocked people still listen to them, Zane says they shouldn't be shocked because they're awesome and then plays Wish You Were Here.

Edit: Quite a nice feeling to hear this song on the radio again actually, been a while since I last listened to Morning View. Zane Lowe starts singing along halfway through and said 'if you don't like this song, regardless of your preference of genre, then you're lying to yourself, it's like not liking puppies.'

Thanks, that was quick! Sounds like all the 'real' info was in the tweet. But good to see that Zane Lowe still pays attention.

Little interview with a local news station. I like that Kilmore took the opening question serious (which song is underrated and should be played more) and answered Love in a Time of Surveillance.

I agree with Chris. I hope they bring Love in a Time of Surveillance back into the setlist.

New interview, recorded when the band was in New York for Colbert, this time with Alternative Press.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2ZtRyQ ... e=youtu.be

I love how uninterested the band looks at the start of the video when the interviewer yell's 'Incubus is in the house!' to the heavens. Look at Jose and Brandon, they are so done with this before it has even started.

Brandon and Mike on Travis Mills on Beats One (Make No Sound in the Digital Forest was playing in the background as they spoke which was a bit of a niche choice).

Summary:

- They describe Into the Summer as 'yacht funk', and say it was the sort of sound they were working towards - usual never been a band to stick to the same sound stuff.

- Asked about whether they have an album coming, they say they have a bunch of songs they just want to release, not necessarily as an LP.

- In the studio by themselves at the moment with no producer. However, they said they'd be happy for people to get in touch and offer remixes, said it was fun to work on 8 for a year and then have Skrillex bring a new point of view to it.

- Mike's favourite song is Pendulous Threads (a fun song to play), Brandon's is Friends and Lovers (scarcely seen the light of day but he would love to play it more - says he felt it captured something about the band), Mike then says 'obviously we've got a song called Drive so you should play that', Travis: 'No one's ever heard this before!', Brandon: 'The feel good hit of 2000'.

Play Pendulous more, Mike! Brandon mentioned before that Friends and Lovers is a track he is very proud of.

Loudwire one was cool. Nice to see the band not just answer the same questions over and over.

Dude's talking shit in a truck, with the silent ones from the band: Ben and Kil! Haven't watched it yet.

Super random. (Sandy) Alex G talks about playing Incubus on the speakers before his sets. He says he does it kind of as a troll-job...but then also says he thinks Incubus is "cool as shit." lol
