Was just about to make a topic. The intro of Nice To Know You is in my ears right now. Listened to the album this weekend and it remains my favorite Incubus-record. For years the top spot was changing every few weeks/months, but the last three years Morning View has solidified itself as the top album. Doubt it will change.

I've always loved the fact that the first song on the record has a chorus that repeats "Goodbye, nice to know you".

This is such a great album. Even with the heavier songs, it's a record that always calms me and speaks to my inner optimist.

I think this album will always be in my Top 2. I still go between Crow and this, usually with Crow on top, but it's always a tough choice, because the records have two very different vibes.

Honestly there are no song I really dislike on this album. Mexico is my obvious last, but I don't dislike it, I think it is actually a really nice song. What's your song ranking? Mine right now would be something like this.

1. Wish You Were Here
2. Echo
3. Aqueous Transmission
4. Have You Ever
5. Just a Phase
6. Are You In?
7. Blood On The Ground
8. Warning
9. 11am
10. Circles
11. Nice to Know You
12. Under My Umbrella
13. Mexico

Hmm, right now my rankings would be the following:

1. Aqueous Transmission
2. Just a Phase
3. Wish You Were Here
4. Echo
5. 11 am
6. Are You In?
7. Warning
8. Under My Umbrella
9. Nice to Know You
10. Circles
11. Blood On The Ground
12. Have You Ever
13. Mexico

Always a tough call, though. Like you said, I don't really dislike a single song. The whole album is amazing.

How dare you all put Under My Umbrella down near the bottom...arguably nearly my favourite Incubus song. They played it during soundcheck recently as well.

Still remember the day I got this record and listening to it in my bedroom in headphones while reading the booklet. Favourite record of all time to this day.

I remember buying this on the weekend after it released. 11am was definitely the theme of that summer for me (I'm in New Zealand). I was 17/18 and had a huge summer break between school and university.

This album is the benchmark in terms of sound I think. You can really tell the band wrote it by jamming together in a big house. It's glossy but still sounds organic as fuck.
