Wow, shocked no one has mentioned yet the band is putting out a music video for No Fun on the 31st. It was on their instagram.

Not one of my favorite songs on the album, and the video for Loneliest has me setting expectations low for the No Fun video.

Also, I would have preferred real music videos for Glitterbomb and State Of The Art, but I guess the band/label felt there was nothing to gain from promoting those songs at this point

Just making sure no one misses this! It’s the best interview of this era and made me go back and watch a lot of Incubus.

Jose mentions that 8 is his favourite music they’ve made. I just don’t see how that can remotely be seen as true. However, I think the production completely ruined 8 and I would love to hear everything without the sanitising bleach that Skrillex poured all over it which choked all the organic goodness out of it. Gah.

Haha yeah, I saw them in that line-up. That show is most likely going to suck for the band. Not just Loneliest or Promises would tank at that show, but even Wish You Were Here would probably be a dud. Unless they play a twelve-song set, focussed on the heavier hits (Megalomaniac, Nimble Bastard, Pardon Me) plus at least one SCIENCE-song, I don't see them killing with that crowd.

LOL!! It looks like Incubus will be the main act for one of the nights (I hope it's Friday the 13th) and Disturbed and Godsmack the other two nights, so it might not be that bad. Still, I see your point. Hee hee.

Anyways, I think the video for "No Fun" is good. Nothing over the top, but good. I thought the audio of the fans singing the chorus near the end was a nice touch.

Now, I'm really interested to see what the guys play this weekend.

I was actually thinking about the sets for Vegas. Brandon has been playing it up in multiple interviews that they'll play four different sets for the nights in Vegas. But to be honest, I'm not expecting major surprises at this point, especially since it's no longer multiple nights in a row, but two sets of two nights.

I'm expecting the three rotational sets from the US tour last year, with some stuff sprinkled in like Echo, Are You In, I Miss You or Just a Phase. I'm not expecting a song that hasn't been touched in ages, like Idiot Box, Rogues or Leech, really.

To be fair, 23 of the 30 shows they have scheduled are headlining shows. But you are right, it does seem like more and more festivals are taking over. It has its pros and cons. On the pro side, you get to see a lot of bands who otherwise might not stop in your city and discover new bands you might not have checked out in any other capacity. There is usually great food and friendly people, as well. But, on the con side, it's usually shorter sets, no real soundcheck, and if bands are playing at the same time, there's sound bleeding. It all comes down to how well-managed and well-booked the festival is.

This means that they're playing either night 1 or night 2 of Rock Fest in Wisconsin. I wonder what other midwest shows they have planned around that time...

My question has been answered; Friday the 13th at the Rave in Milwaukee which means they’ll be playing the first night of Rock Fest (the 12th) and then Siuox City show on the 14th.

Why they aren’t heading to Europe this summer is beyond me but I’m looking forward to July!

Well guys and gals...Looks like I'm going to my first MYF meet and greet after all these years.

I was surprised to see a show in my hometown pop up in May, at a reallllly small venue none the less! What?! When did this happen?! I thought for sure the 8 tour would be winding down by now.....That alone had me hype as fuck...let alone snagging MYF tickets....DUDES...I can't even...

I'm beyond stoked. What in the world could I possibly say to the guys other than a good handshake and thank you? I'm a grown ass man by now and part of me thinks walking past a table and systematically getting an autograph just isn's that cool anymore....truthfully I wanted to just camp out and get as close as possible to the stage for the actual show but now I'm more worried about not getting a prime spot than actually getting the swag and going backstage LOL

Can't wait.
