Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
If I didn't love 8 as much as I do I would probably think that was way too much 8 haha.
But looks pretty good. Aqueous, Redefine, and The Warmth are great deep cuts. It looks like they tweaked the end of The Warmth as well per IG. Warning is always nice. WYWH is a funny idea for a cover. Also glad SSLW is holding strong.
Would love a Digital Forrest jam worked in somewhere.

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
Yeah, take out WIBAM for Digital forrest and you have a really solid set. Eight songs from 8 is a lot, but they've repeatedly said how excited they are about playing them, so not surprised. And take out The Original of course, that song is awful and an absolute dud.
Tonight we'll have an indication of the level of variation. I could see a song like Familiar Faces making an, appearance.

I'm hoping Throw Out the Map makes it on there eventually.

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
Pretty rough switcheroos tonight (if you ask me):
Out:
Surveillance
The Warmth
Redefine
Undefeated
SSLW
The Original
No Fun
In:
Circles
Love Hurts
INNW
Dig
Pantomime
NTKY
ITCOW
Positive:
At least there is some variance, cool! Wonder if it will be the usual A/B rotation or more impromptu.
Pantomime! Circles/NTKY are also always welcome.
Negative:
Hope Wolves/SSLW are not an either/or deal, but likely are.
No SCIENCE? I mean I'm not even a die hard SCIENCE lover.
Surveillance should be at every show.
Other:
Was really hoping Trust Fall would stick as a staple.

I agree, but as I posted on reddit, the variation is exciting. We know there are quite a few songs they rehearsed and are still.options. Makes me curious about what they'll do tonight!

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
I am really Jonesing to hear a full version of Surveillance live as it's probably my favourite song off 8, so it's still a little disappointing how little of the shows seem to be resurfacing on youtube, I first noticed that trend starting with the Trust Fall Side A tour cycle. Maybe it's altogether a positive thing though as it shows that people are watching and enjoying the concert, rather than viewing the entire thing through a screen...

Oh for sure, I don't mean to sound like such a downer. Definitely curious to see if it is A/B or a full rotation.

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
The first setlist is LEGIT.
However I think the Tampa show had some really poor decisions. Nowhere near as good IMO. SSLW should be an every show song as I say every tour.
Dropping The Warmth, Redefine, SSLW, and No Fun/Undefeated are tough to argue for, although Pantomime is a fantastic surprise, it just wouldn’t be worth the sacrifice. If they swapped The Original and Pantomime the first night, that would have been unreal.

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
The first night setlist is fantastic. Made me really excited for the first time in years with the boys setlist wise.
The second night is back to the same old. I agree, it's cool to see the variation, but the choices were poor. They played way less songs off 8 in favor of more singles (how could you not play a song like No Fun every show this tour?), they didn't play ONE S.C.I.E.N.C.E. song, and they reverted back to the same old non singles like Circles and ITCOW. Pantomime was a nice surprise of course, but the rest really bummed me out.
The Vegas residency may be mandatory for me at this point to ensure I get to hear everything haha.

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
With tonight's tour debuts (Quicksand, AKTSUO, Stellar, Here In My Room, and Throw Out The Map), the boys have now played 31 unique songs in 3 nights.
In the 2015 US tour, 33 shows, they played 32 unique songs TOTAL. That says a ton. Through the first three shows, they played 22 unique songs. The second show had 4 debuts, the third show 0.
Awesome stuff.

Ok I've seen enough. Pantomime/SSLW combo for the win, wow.
I'm not looking at any other setlists, I'm totally satisfied with what I've seen here and look forward to being surprised @ DTE

Reason: snapchat and instagram. That's where people share their moments now, YouTube isn't needed for that.

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
Setlist from Atlanta last night:
Quicksand
A Kiss to Send Us Off
Stellar
Nimble Bastard
Anna Molly
Love Hurts
Megalomaniac
Here in My Room
Wish You Were Here (with Pink Floyd outro!!)
State of the Art
Pardon Me
Drive
Love in a Time of Surveillance
Pantomime
Sick Sad Little World
Nice to Know You
Dig
Loneliest
When I Become a Man
Throw Out the Map
Aqueous Transmission
Thoughts: Lots of singles, not too many surprises. The Pantomime/SSLW combo was awesome! Also, going straight from WIBAM to Map was cool too. They kind of beefed up the end of WIBAM to lead into the heaviness of Map. Great show all around!

I still far prefer watching live videos on youtube to any other platform, things may have changed now but it doesn't mean I have to like it lol.

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
according to Ty, I've managed to see 3 out of the last 4 performances of Calgone... so perhaps I'll keep that streak up in MA?
Would love to hear Redefine again.
I'll be very sad if they play Love Hurts instead of the Warmth. I'd prefer SSLW to Wolves too. :/ I can get behind Pantomime though.
I'm only doing one show this year (*gasp*) - #54, so crossing my fingers for a setlist that agrees with me
Now if they'd only open with Privilege...

You can be on the right track and still get hit by a train.

TOTM sounds amazing live !
This! I'd say No Fun and Map are the most polished live tracks off 8 so far, even Brandon is sounding a lot better on these than the other tracks. I'd still much rather have them segue into Map with Digital Forest rather than WIBAM lol, but it's sounding awesome!

Re: 2017 Setlists [Spoilers]
Yea, bummed The Warmth and Redefine were only 1 show teases so far.
Shifted to a much "softer" setlist. Which I'm ok with, to an extent. But needs a little more rock IMO.
