Good times. I couldn't really make more off the lyrics than Juan. already did. Besides maybe;

Yeah, won't you show, learn us, how do you
See the stars from that far down?

But that is for the most part a guess.

Im really warming up to the idea of skrillex on the album. On a slow song... his electronic work could fit really well.

I don't see mention of fans present at this event, only music industry people.

I don't imagine the band and their management forgetting about IOV and IHQ communities when handling a fan event.

´fans' are mentioned under the third picture in the article.
Probably a mistake I guess

I think so. Probably music insiders who brought friends and family and get listed as fans for the purpose of the article.

If any "real" fan was there, It would be someone we do know from our online communities.

I thought the band was going to be more cautious with their albums. Since INNW leaked like two months before the release and they had to change the promotion plans.

Wow just realized that Crow turned 13 years old a few days ago. Still no word on the music they did for the bonus dvd.

Speaking of which it would be great if they did a DVD with the new album like they did with Crow, with some studio footage maybe even mix in the best bits of the tour they did with deftones (which I heard was incredible) and all the footage that Julian Schratter has done for them looks awesome too! Would love a new incubus DVD to add to the collection :)

So it's the July/August US Tour once again. Please do Europe in the Fall... I'm aching for some headline shows.

Bunch more;
July 27th - Cincinnati, OH (with Jimmy Eat World)
July 20th - Camden, NJ
July 28th - Mountain View, CA
July 19th - Jones Beach, NY
Unknown date - Mansfield, MA
July 22nd - Toronto, Canada

More here: https://www.facebook.com/pg/incubus/eve ... e_internal

The dates are all messed up. You have to look at the event page to see the actual date. They're touring with Jimmy Eat World. Sucks they're doing amphitheaters again with another band, but I guess that's the only viable way to tour for them.

I love this! Incubus and jimmy eat world. I'm assuming incubus goes on second so this is great. I also liked the deftones co headlining tour as a big deftones fan. Incubus picking some good bands to play with I love it

I'm guessing Incubus will close these shows, so that will probably make for longer sets. Hope they don't do the same stock-setlist again, but switch it up a bit more.

Nimble Bastard lyrics

Ok, I got [some of] this:

Has it come to this?
We're stuck in the ____
I get it, I'm not perfect, I was never ____ ____
But I'm not LONG for this earth
If we really ONLY ever get one chance
To burn!

I ____ ____ before I can see the finish
How ELSE would I learn?
I wanna know! How is it you do it?

When you land on your feet, you're a nimble bastard!
And you won't skip a beat!
Such a nimble bastard!
Salt of the earth
Yeah, won't you SHOW, ____ us, how do you
See the stars from that far down?

I swing and I miss
And then come the creeps
It makes me want to faint!
I wanna know, how is it you do it?
How do you spill the paint
And then fit it into a frame?

When you land on your feet, you're a nimble bastard!
And you won't skip a beat!
Such a nimble bastard!
Salt of the earth
Yeah, won't you SHOW, ____ us, how do you
See the stars from that far down?

Took a stab at a few, in caps - all based on what i see from the image.

I don't want to complain about this tour with Jimmy Eat World. I am definitely going if they come nearby but what it concerns me is why don't they play other venues instead of these amps? When they do these co-headlining tours the band doesn't play their normal 20 song set. I went to a few of the solo shows they did back in 2015 and still they did their 18 song set.

Feel very lucky that i had the chance to see them on their prime.

No way could they sell out amps by themselves nowadays.

I feel like they could still do a longer set if they wanted. I think the shorter sets are by choice. Realistically start fifteen minutes earlier and u can easily work in three more songs.

No, that's true. But why not play a smaller venue on your own? I'm not talking 400-people small, but 5000 or so. These venues are 15.000-capacity venues. There is a middle road the band could take. But I guess they enjoy these shows, they play little bit shorter sets than at headline shows, which might be good for their endurance (especially Brandon's voice). I'm sure they have valid reasons, be it enjoyment or money, but I think US fans are hoping for 'real' Incubus-shows, with a crowd that shows up just for them.
