Just discovered Agent Fresco a few hours ago. Now I can't stop listening to Destrier.

Facken hell. I am thoroughly impressed with these guys. Incredibly technical and cohesive for a 3-piece rhythm section plus the amazing vocals. The guitarist is mad talented!

Thanks for the recommendations tingky!
Trying to find new progresive bands for awhile now.

New Karnivool songs

It seems like Karnivool is still stocked on the Asymmetry sound.

I hope Karnivool is actively writing music as we speak.

Man, I can't seem to stop heaping praise for Agent Fresco. They really caught me off guard. I'm especially enjoying their minimalist approach to the guitar - yet still managing to maintain a heavy sound. Really creative people.

Karnivool going back to Forrester for the next album. Should be good.

Anyone else heard the new Fates Warning album "Theories of Flight"?

Thanks for the recommendation. The vocalist sounds like a less annoying James Labrie.

This is an interesting prog-metal band. They describe their album as 'cinematic metal'.

This one features Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust:

and Daniel Tompkins of Tesseract:

I did not touch my Earthside DL for weeks because I was too busy. Finally listened to the album (A Dream in Static) a few days ago and really enjoying it. Ironically, the track with Lajon from Sevendust is my least favorite off the record.

First time hearing this band. Album is so good. The singer reminds me of Karnivool's Ian Kenny.

Cool band!
Definitely the singer sounds like Ian Kenny.

2017 should be a pretty good year for prog music.

Just recently got into this band Good Tiger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8x0LM8pK0E

Progressive supergroup of sorts: Ex-Tesseract vocalist, Faceless drummer

Didn't really pay attention to that song since the record came out. Also didn't know they released a video for it.

I always thought Elliot was a nice alternative to Cedric of Mars Volta

Definitely Karnivool.

I'm a bit apprehensive about Skyharbor since I'm not really digging the new vocalist. He has some huge shoes to fill after Dan Tompkins left.

I heard awhile back the Contortionist is working on a follow up to Language. I hope it's true and much better if it's released in 2017.

Such an underrated band. This track brings so much nostalgia. I suggest earphones + volume

I wish one day I will have the chance to play this acoustic rendition as is outdoors with the sun setting. Cathartic stuff.

I'm glad they made a music video for this track. That one note in the chorus gives me goosebumps.

Awesome song. The singer definitely sounds a lot like Karnivool's Ian Kenny.

tingky were you a fan of Oceansize? There is a band that sounds a lot like them called Flights but it seems like they dissapeared from the internet. They had an EP and it was incredible.
