Seeing as the activity on the forum is not what it used to be, I don't think a thread for every show is necessary. If you do want a thread dedicated for the show you go to, feel free to make it. Otherwise, discuss Incubus' tour here.

Note: for when the tour starts, be wary with setlist spoilers. Some people might not want to know what is being played, so try to avoid talking about any surprises! We could do a differen thread for discussing the setlist, but I wouldn't want people's fun at a show be spoiled.

Are you going to a show? Which one, what are you hoping for?

Also, why do you think is the Red Rocks show almost two months after the last show of the tour? Could it be for filming a live DVD? Does the band insist on playing Red Rocks and was this the only available time to do it?

Picked up pit tickets for Detroit in the presale today.

Not sure with the Red Rocks date. Makes me think it couldn't fit their schedule. Between the second to last show and Red Rocks maybe they're going to Europe or somewhere else. I would love to see another live DVD but wouldn't want to see red rocks again. That show has gone down as legendary for them and why set yourself up for a letdown. Hollywood Bowl DVD ? or somewhere in LA would be cool to me.

Hey guys, if anyone is interested in a terrace box for the Hollywood Bowl show I have 4 tickets for sale (the entire box). Picked them up in the fan presale but then was lucky enough to grab garden box seats in the regular sale. Selling for face value ($150 each after fees) - shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Wow the MYF vip packages were pretty expensive this time around. I read a few of the auctions reached the 1,000$ mark.

I've been thinking this recently. It's a great cause what they do with the money they earned with this meet and greets packages but at the same time i feel like they should offer more than what they include.

Yeah I saw people pay 1300$! Is that normal in the US? Made me feel very lucky I got a M&G for just 100$ in 2012.

I'm pretty excited about the Red Rocks show... first time at RR and seeing Bus and JEW, so I'm hoping for a pretty killer show. I was also wondering why the long gap in between the Seattle show and RR. I can only assume there'll be other dates filled in for overseas or South America.

This is a pretty good bill if you know both bands material. If you go in just knowing the basic JEW hits you can enjoy the show. I just saw JEW and it was a great show as usual. Incubus concert goers should really do themselves a favor and familiarize themselves with Jimmy Eat World's catalogue.

So I saw some people at reddit who thought that JEW would get the same amount of stage time as Incubus. But will they really? I can't imagine they will, JEW have never been as big as Incubus, right? I mean with Deftones/Incubus or Linkin Park/Incubus, I get that they get equal time or Deftones/Linkin Park would get more, but not with Jimmy Eat World.

Not a chance Jimmy Eat World will get as much stage time as Incubus. No need to worry.

They'll get one hour max. Probably closer to 45 min.

I wasn't really worrying, since I won't be attending. But I think it'll be good for Incubus to play a proper headline slot of 90-105 minutes again.

JEW is just as big as Incubus in popularity, if not more. It's just that you can't really compare the two bands because up to this point they produced two different styles of music. But with the new snippets of 8 it makes the new album sound like it's an indie band's record. So maybe having JEW on the new tour makes sense. Incubus may get some JEW fans interested in their music. Also JEW will probably have an hour set, at least.

Plus JEW has steadily put out music over the last couple of years and they have a dedicated fan base. Incubus likes to take 5+ years between albums which I think could stagger their popularity.

I totally agree, it's time for a proper headline tour with that kind of set length. I'm pretty sure it'll happen. I didn't mean for that "no need to worry" comment to come off as rude if it did!

I'd be very surprised if JEW gets more than an hour. I'm putting my money on a 45-60 minute set.

This simply isn't true. JEW's highest selling album hit platinum and they have never reached that again. INNW which was a relative flop sold 4x as many records as JEW's last album. Incubus is a significantly bigger draw and deserves headlining time.

I'm not saying Incubus isn't headlining. Of course it's Incubus -with- JEW, I'm just saying JEW is big as well and will probably have an hour set at least.

Got some cellphone videos of them at Florida... Drive, Aqueous, and WYWH... all sounded great, and Brandon didn't seem to struggle on the snippets I heard, but of course they were of him singing in the lower register, but still.
