I'm seeing them three times, expecting at least twice the same set. I've set the bar low. Besides songs from 8 I'm hoping to see three or so songs I havent seen live before. Warning being the most likely candidate. I'm hoping for Echo.

I would, but going with my girlfriend who's never really listened to them, so not sure she'd fancy seeing them two nights in a row - especially if they end up playing the same set twice.

Yeah and with their current track record, it's unlikely that the second night will be vastly different.

@The Vine, del Lago Resort & Casino, Waterloo, NY, USA
1)Privilege
(With snippet of “Mundian To Bach Ke” by Panjabi MC )
2)Glitterbomb
3)Anna Molly
4)Megalomaniac
5)A Kiss to Send Us Off
6)State of the Art
7)Circles
8)Punch Drunk
9)Pardon Me
10)No Fun
11)Isadore
12)Absolution Calling
(With snippet of Wicked Game by Chris Isaak)
13)Nimble Bastard
14)Nice to Know You
15)Wish You Were Here
(With snippet of Wish You Were… )

Encore:
16)Calgone
Need You Tonight
(INXS cover)
17)Drive
18)A Crow Left of the Murder
(With snippet of Pony by Ginuwine)

This was a really fun show and it seemed like the band was having a good time. Brandon's voice sounded great especially the old stuff. The best Nimble Bastard performance I have seen and it appears he is making adaptations to avoid the voice cracks. No Fun into Isadore was kind of a buzzkill especially because the crowd was super into No Fun

That is a pretty good setlist, imo, but I can see how the transition from No Fun to Isadore would be really awkward. Based on what I'm seeing, Isadore would have went over better after State of The Art or Punch Drunk. Good to hear it was a fun show and that the guys seemed in good spirits. And I really like how they did something from every album from S.C.I.E.N.C.E. to 8.

The band always seems to drop Warning from rotation just as I'm about to see them. The biggest single I haven't seen live yet.

No surprises in the Berlin set (except maybe it being the second show in a row where Nimble Bastard seems to be dropped), but this review is pretty negative. https://www.rbb24.de/kultur/beitrag/201 ... halle.html

Brandon not at his best (makes sense, he was sick), the band didn't seem that invested, hardly any interaction, 'blutleeres' (meaning so much as lifeless), concert was saved by a sense of nostalgia and a fiery crowd, according to the reviewer.

So after not playing Nimble Bastard at any European shows so far, they only played No Fun from 8 at yesterday's festival show (and I haven't found any videos of songs from 8 at the switzerland festival). This is still the 8 tour right?

This happens every time the band tours overseas. Maybe they are trying to play a more varied set instead of playing a lot more from 8.

btw, Closing with Drive seems pretty weird.

Yeah, on paper that looks like a weird closing song for me too. But I'll see how it works this week.

And while 8 is far from my favorite album by the band, but I would love to hear some tracks of it. Mostly songs they have abandoned already: Surveillance, Throw Out The Map, Familiar Faces. But I expect them to go back to the Glitterbomb/State of the Art/No Fun-trio for the headline shows at least.

I'll be seeing them in Manchester on the 8th. Trying my best not to look at setlists, but so far I'm failing.

The good thing is I missed them last time and kicked myself so hard for it, so I couldn't give a shit what gets played or doesn't this time around, I just want to see them there in person playing live. It's been a long time since the Light Grenades tour!

I can't find a video anywhere. I doubt they played the whole song. I more or less expect it to be a crowd chant the band picked up, much like the chant at the Chile show in.2010.

I don't think they've ever played that one live which is super surprising to me; I think it's my favorite on the record.

Correct, only song yet to be played. And it has grown on me a lot, really high on my list for this album.

The Warmth in Cologne! Big surprise for me, which was great since the rest of the set was what we knew.

Band sounded really good (heavier than last time I saw them, I think), crowd was really into it. Pretty big pit during Calgone, which I wasn't expecting since all the videos I've seen of the song have had pretty mediocre crowd response. Set is a bit unbalanced, meaning that I'd switch the order around a bit and pull NTNY or Megalomaniac a little more to the middle of the set. But great show overall!

The Warmth is a welcome surprise. Hope they keep it in for London.

Saw them in vienna yesterday and it was amazing. The guys sounded very good. Brandon especially hit some very hard notes and was on point. The hate he gets from some fans is definitely overblown. Of course is Voice isnt the same after all these years but he still sounds fantastc (well except on Anna Molly)
Crowd was also very into it. and i finally got to see punch drunk live. Love this song

Saw you post on reddit. Setlist was different in three ways from the night before, that's the most change we've seen from the band this European tour.

Yeah, but I have to say I was disappointed in the changes. Punch Drunk was nice but I had seen it before, I would've preferred the rarer Echo. Glitterbomb is cool and all but to kick Calgone and INXS cover for it was super disappointing. And the night before they played The Warmth but decide to change it for Are You In in Vienna, super lame. I love Are You In, but it's been played at every show I've been so far.

Overall it was a great concert, but knowing what they played consistently all the other dates made it disappointing.
