I'm just trying to be positive given how much I enjoyed the shows, despite the lack of variety. But I do understand your points and apologize if I offended you, we are all here because of a mutual love for a killer band.

Ha! That was me, but again: take it with a grain of salt, and that was meant as a grumpy joke, an intentional overreaction.

I'm not offended in any way, I just feel that there should be room for discussion and with that criticism. Otherwise, the whole idea of a forum is pretty useless :) I'm not trying to ruin any one's fun at a show with being critical. Hell, in 2015 I was also pretty critical of the sets and got the exact set I was expecting at the show in London (with one surprise), but I still had a great time. So I get that the set lists isn't a huge issue if you are at the show in person.

I can only speak for myself but I absolutely do not need a ton of SCIENCE/ MY to be happy. Would I enjoy an extra track or two from those albums? Of course.

But it's more about the energy/flow in the "B" set. It just has too many slow jams / ballads for my taste. I would have frankly loved more 8, not getting a song like Surveillance was disappointing.

And whether it is fair or not, the crowd at my show had a noticably more energetic reaction to basically anything off MY-LG. The band is welcome to play what they wish, but the fact is those albums are why most people still come to see the band.

7/15/17: Lakeview Amphitheater, Syracuse, NY, USA

Love in a Time of Surveillance
Warning
Nimble Bastard
Anna Molly
Glitterbomb
Megalomaniac
The Warmth
Wish You Were Here
State of the Art
Pardon Me
Drive
Nice to Know You
Undefeated
Redefine
Sick Sad Little World
When I Became a Man
No Fun
The Original
Loneliest
Encore:
Aqueous Transmission

This was an awesome show. Crowd seemed really into the whole set and only a few people leaving for piss breaks during the original/loneliest. No Fun got a nice reaction from the crowd too

It's a shame they don't work in more deep cuts into their shows. I don't care from what album. Extend each set with two different deep cuts each show and you have an epic set every night

Agreed.

On a more positive note: really happy to see Aqueous make a return, cool that they're doing Redefine (even though Brandon doesn't do the didgeridoo intro) and even if I hate the song The Original is a surprise from INNW. I really thought the only songs that would survive from that album would be Adolescents and In the Company of Wolves.
I also really like what I'm hearing on the live videos of No Fun, Glitterbomb and Throw Out The Map. The bridge of Glitterbomb sounds even beefier live, and it really elevates the song for me.

And I hate to be one of those people that complain but they are charging some high prices this tour. I don't think it's too much to ask if ur shelling 200 dollars to play a couple more songs and a few more deep cuts

So the past 2 tours, I've been ripped off with the same exact setlist. Literally, saw the same show twice, not one song was different. If you are playing in the same area, then why not throw in some variety? Also, they sounded great night last at Bethel Woods, but why not do something special to honor Woodstock? I guess im just over knowing which song is coming next and over hearing Megalomaniac, Drive, WYWH, etc. Wish they weren't so 'set' all the time and played more on the fly.

Like Surf said, Brandon's voice probably is the big factor. We know there are more than enough songs they know and like to play.

I have no idea how a song like Nowhere Fast NEVER gets touched.

Like I get not wanting the song the lyrics to Make Yourself, or rap/scream/slap bass/DJ solo in SCIENCE.

But Nowhere Fast is not THAT far off from some of 8. Interesting it gets zero love.

They played it in Camden during the Trust Fall tour and I was super surprised. They then followed it up with I Miss You, which was equally as surprising for that tour. It was easily the highlight of my night and completely agree that it should be in the frequent tour rotation tracks.

I believe that was the only appearance for Nowhere Fast in 2015? I should have learned not to miss a Camden show after 2012 when they played Blood On The Ground and Just A Phase. And yet, here I am, doing it again haha. If it wasn't a weekday or closer to Jones Beach/PNC would maybe try to swing it.

Stock A at Jones Beach, Stock C last night, both with Make No Sound. And with Wish You Were Here dedicated to Chester last night.

I guess so. And I don't think the sets are bad, just some not so exciting choices. Stock B, with Throw Out the Map instead of In the company of wolves, in Toronto.

Really having such terrible Incubus luck lately! With Cleveland getting B, looks like Chicago is also due for B.

Not sure I wanna take two long Ubers for that.

I'm going to the Pittsburgh show tonight and I'm guessing I'm getting the Quicksand setlist unless by some miracle they switch back to set A, which would be fantastic.

Not the most exciting addition, but an addition nonetheless.
