CD or vinyl? If it's vinyl, I'm going to check stores here.

EDIT: nevermind, forgot that the vinyl was delayed.

Wow, just listened to the whole album.

Throw Out The Map might be my favorite Incubus song since 2006.

Surveillance is so stupidly good too. Sounds like Alice in Chains in the chorus and Rage in the bridge.

Still can't get into Loneliest. It's the drum machine that is killing it for me.

Gonna have it on repeat all day. The day is here folks!!

First impressions of the songs we hadn't heard completely:

- No Fun is a great opener. Very Privilege like.
- Surveillance is fucking sick. Rocks way harder than what we heard on the snippets.
- Throw Out the Map also pleasantly surprising.
- Digital Forest is more or a less an intro to Throw Out the Map.
- Loneliest was the one I was most looking forward to hear and while it doesn't disappoint, it didn't fulfill like I was anticipating
- Still can't get on board with Familiar Faces. Probably the weakest
- When I become a Man is a fucking joke and waste of album space

Easily the most consistent Incubus album ever released.

The drums are the worst part of the whole album IMO! I believe that would be Skrillex who messed that up. They sound so falt and ahhhhhhh forget it.

The first track - No Fun - is basically a standard rock song. Not bad but not great either.

I'm skipping the tracks we all know. Undefeated is probably the most catchy one from those. Others are mehhh but not bad either.

And just as I said before When I Became a Man shouldn't even be there, they could have put it as the last song on the album.

Love In The Time Of Surveillance has a really good beginning but then it just goes slowly, slowly, slooooooow and it's boring... everything sounds out of place on this one at least to me.

That instrumental (Make No Sound In The Digital Forest) is nice, sounds a lot of like Incubus that I like but it's too short. They used to have so much fun putting up those tracks that were like 7 minutes long. But it's GOOD.

Thrown Out The Map probably the best heavy riff on the record, sounds like a proper Incubus track (except for that piano part before last chorus).

Familiar Faces should have been THE single. It sounds extra mainstream. IMO they should have put all $$$ in promoting this one. The best track on the record.

What do you refer to here, because too my knowledge Incubus only has three album tracks over five minutes (Aqueous Transmission, Sick Sad Little World and In The Company of Wolves).

EDIT: I caved. Fuck me.

I've meant the Halo 2 soundtrack.

Yeah, but I'd approach that as a one time thing, not as something to compare studio albums to. But that's me.

EDIT: 'No Fun' should've been the lead single. Would've pleased old fans more than Nimble Bastard and is catchy as hell. Good for radio. Want to have it on repeat right away, instead of continuing with the album. Good sign.

i´m really happy with the album. someone said it in an earlier post and i have to agree that this is a good and consistent record.

also have to agree that no fun should have been the single. after just one listen its stuck in my head.
biggest surprise for is love in the time of surveillance. way better than i expected.
i absolutely love Loneliest.

overall this album is much better than i anticipated and all the songs have something special in. except for undefeated, i just cant get into that one

Okay, I'll write a more detailed analysis when I get home and really put my thought together, but I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!

It flows perfectly (except for When I Became A Man).

I agree with everyone that's saying 'No Fun' should have been the lead single. So good!!

The album flows great. The first 5 songs are great, then Lonliest kills it. It sounds like a Timberlake song on pop/hip hop radio. Just not a fan. Surveillance and Throw out the Map are solid tracks.

It feels to me they really didn't come up with that much for the album considering 2 songs are basically studio jams. I feel they could have put at least 3 more tracks on here and really brought the album together.
