According to the band, there's only one song with him on the album. I'm guessing he's working on remixes and stuff like that.

I'm sure I'll get excited, a lot, when the album art, track listing, and release date itself are upon us...but....

Like others on here, I feel my excitement level starting to go down. Granted, Skrillex is all over social media, but cmon man. It's not fun to keep watching that, especially with the lack of Ben.

Hopefully they surprise me. But I loved half of the Trustfall EP, and consider INNW a swing and a miss. So, to think that the last large piece of work they put out that resonates positively with me was 2006 is starting to feel even more concerning.

Has anyone thought that maybe Skrillex is actually working on an album and asked the guys to help? It would explain why Chino was there too.

Could be, could also very well be remixes, since Brandon mentioned that in an interview. Im confident he will feature on one song on the regular album.

Not sure about that* They wouldn't have the "8" tag in every post.

The video says making Incubus' new record, or something to that nature.

I didn't see anything referencing Incubus when Chino was there, did I miss something?

I actually like his vocals. I understand how someone would hate his vocal style since he steers clear from traditional singing as far as being on point on every note, but he is one of the most experimental and adventurous vocalists I've ever known.

I remember listening to Mascara with a friend and both of us paid extra attention to the vocals on that song. We both agreed it's one of the easiest songs to sing but as far as writing the melody and feel, it takes commitment and some balls and a great creative compass to actually go out and record the singing in that song. It's not overly practiced, it felt like it was done in a few takes, and Chino especially left the hushed parts as is, where other vocalists would probably rethink and try to 'improve' to reach traditional singing standards. I remember turning to my friend and saying "this guy's got some huge balls to be satisfied and say stop and not overdo it". And it served the song tremendously.

Sorry for veering OT

Maybe it doesn't show up on a mobil device, but the upload info says: Published on Feb 26, 2017
Chino Moreno guest appearance on recording session for new Incubus album!
Short studio clip (3 clips in 1) taken from Skrillex instagram stories.

I think that is the interpretation of an Incubus fan account, not something.that was clear on the original post.

I was wondering if that was the new album cover. Although it's cool, it's kind of bland for an album cover (if we're taking into account the album art they produced in the past).

Hope not. They got two talented artists in the band, never understood why they put themselves like that on the cover of Trustfall.

Yeah, the geometric stuff on the single covers foe Absolution Calling and Trust Fall were much better than the EP cover.

Perfect way to light my day. The album Deftones released next year was also bit of a change in the band's sound but is definitely one of my favorite record of 2016.
I got high expectations for this duet and the whole album.
