After listening to this song on Spotify in my car on my way to work a few times, I can really hear in the guitar mainly the throw back to SCIENCE guitars, obviously its incubus now doing, no funky bass line and no heavy DJ all over it. But the more I listen to it the more I'm getting into it. Will have a listen on headphones later for sure too. Hopefully this sits later in the album like ACSOG. But again hyped for 8 to come out.

If you like thinking about chocking a radio-DJ to death, here's an Brandon-interview with an annoying DJ:

http://973planetradio.iheart.com/onair/ ... -15568303/

- Brandon says he's not sure what from their collab with Sonny/Skrillex is going to end up on the album, but says that there will be some versions of songs that have Skrillex' signature sound. Meaning remixes rather than actual album tracks?
- They wrote about a year and a half for this record.
- It sounds like one cohesive piece of music, according to Brandon
- Little bit of talk about the Water = Life-protests the band has supported through MYF

In between and surrounding this is talk of the tour and how this is the best album they've made, you know the standard promo-biz. I'd suggest on not listening to it yourself, since the host is enormous moron.

Funny how most fans now seem to consider LG a very good album.

When it came out there was quite a bit of hate towards it.

I think it's 2-3 poor songs away from being their best album, but still very good especially considering Look Alive and Punch Drunk.

Jesus tickets were indeed expensive. Ended up paying 120 per person with processing fees.

But I got front row, baby.

So there is a very short "making of" video on facebook. Man, a whole DVD of that would be so great

I'm not a fan of this tour layout, am I the only person that doesn't like seeing shows at the Hollywood bowl? I'm hoping they add the SB bowl soon. Sucks there's no more Irvine amp.

I'll be going to the Chula Vista and LA bowl shows for sure. Maybe the mountain view if I can get meet and greets for it.

I've seen some people of Facebook express their disappointment at the Hollywood Bowl-choice.

By the way, with special guests Jimmy Eat World says the poster. That means it's basically just a Incubus-tour, with them as support right?

It seems like they already sold the first few rows at red rocks.

Incubus might still be relevant after all.

I got Row 21, center at Red Rocks! Never been to Red Rocks and I couldn't think of a better time to go. Now I just have to wait 8 months..

Same here about never being to Red Rocks, and I think I got close to center of row 36, so I'm pretty happy.
I have to be leaving, but I won't let that come between us.

The Hollywood Bowl is one of my least favorite venues. Way more people than any other venue I've been to sit the entirety of the show, there's no pit, and the sound is almost always too low so you can hear people talking around you. With that said, I'll be there. I wish Incubus were playing The Forum again or a couple nights at The Greek.

Really hope Just A Phase / The Warmth / Punchdrunk make appearances this tour.

Don't get me wrong, I won't turn my nose up to New Skin or Calgone coming back. But would love to hear those fan favorites/previous staples return.

Have You Ever, Blood On The Ground, Aqueous. Return of the mid-set acoustic breakdown. Fuck we really need longer/deeper sets out of these guys.

Agreed. Personally, Light Grenades is on the top of my wish list. Blood on the Ground, Leech, Have You Ever and Make Yourself are also on there. Of course, some SCIENCE songs other than Vitamin would be cool, but there's so much more that deserves more play time. Oil and Water, Rogues, Priceless, Clean, 11am, Echo....

After listening to the iTunes version with my boss qc15 I have to say nimble bastard sounds like trash. Don't get me wrong I like the song but what the hell is with the recording. I hope this album doesn't end up being like the wild trapeze. I listen to bands like the breeders , ween, sebadoh ect so I don't mine lofi recordings. But this isn't that, this sounds worse than a demo. It just sounds like someone who had no clue what they were doing mixed and mastered it. I don't understand how this is possible with this band. So infuriating and frustrating. I wonder if it has something to do with the band being insistent that they work with their friends rather than people from the outside. seriously how could this be going on? Doesn't someone close to the band listen to this and say "hey guys...". Considering how much worse (compared to iTunes version with boss headphones) it sounds over radio I can only imagine this song is DOA

Music artist Alan Aldridge passed away. Best known for his work with the Beatles and other artists, he was who the band sent the LG lyrics to for him to create artwork based on the themes and concepts. RIP.

has anyone heard whether or not they'll be doing make yourself foundation meet and greets for this tour? Given some of the prices, it might be worth holding out for them.
