Yeah, those rumours were discussed a while ago. I've never gotten the love for 311, but at the same time I feel like that band is very American (as in big in America, but not outside of it). I think this bill will be a good draw for both bands, but it will also solidify what the Make Yourself-tour set in motion: Incubus will be a full-blown nostalgia act.

The cancelled shows from the MY-tour have a new date:

May 15th - Myrtle Beach - House of Blues
May 16th - Raleigh - The Ritz

Wonder if they'll play the full album.

311 is a full-blown nostalgia act as well. It’s fitting that they will be touring together. And yes, it will be a definitely be a good draw for both bands.

Also, it will mark 20 years since the bands last toured together.

Fearful with a song title like that...hopefully we are pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, I'm not too psyched about "Our Love." Hope I'm wrong.

For the amount of recording they seem to have been doing since 8, one single in a year isn't going to cut it, especially if it's as bad as Into The Summer was (still the only Incubus track I've not downloaded or bought in any capacity.)

I remain hopeful and optimistic however that I will enjoy this new one and I am looking forward to hearing it in a couple of weeks. Also here's to the one after it not taking so damn long.

Ben Stokes - famous England cricketer - just posted on his Instagram story a video of him listening to Incubus. Nothing major but he has over 1 million followers and has become one of the most popular sportsmen in England, so pretty cool.

As a New Zealand cricket fan I thoroughly disapprove of this Incubus listening.

New song not too far away. Searching for a little snippet or sample that might appear early on music sites. Praying its decent!

No surprise, no single this Friday. Claiming the release with video will be the 31st now via ig.

Owell!

Maybe I'm just old and grouchy, but not exactly feeling this whole releasing singles thing without an actual album. Regardless, always excited for new music.

Typical for the way this band has handled releases since Renman left.

Maybe they haven’t finished editing the video yet? But yeah, why delay it? It’s just a song and not an album...just put it out there! Frustrating

If the video isn't edited yet, they really should work with other people. We know the video was shot BEFORE the MY-tour.

Snippet video from August 14th: https://www.instagram.com/p/B1IQHhzBOc6 ... qhumbcq088

It would only make sense if it ties in with the other announcement Brandon teased.

Considering they said on Zane Lowe over two months a go it was coming out on January 10, this is delay number two...

I had a feeling the new song was going to be delayed. When “Into the Summer” came out, they blew up FB and IG with posts about it and all has been relatively quiet this week. So no surprise. Nothing else to do but wait til Jan31. Bummer

They are independent now yeah so who decides when to release things if there is now no label involved? Not all that bummed, just trying to make sense of it all...

I'm not a fan of the way this band has been operating in the last couple years. Into The Summer was delayed too, so they're 2 for 2 on delayed new music. I don't know how they can screw it up that much. It's just two songs, guys. I much prefer the album format after seeing how they've botched this single approach.

I was a huge fan back in the day, ACLOTM is still one of my favorite albums. But if this new single keeps getting pushed, and if it turns out to be a letdown, I may just pull the plug on following this band anymore. They're making it so hard to be a fan. Very disappointing.
