Venezuela or Colombia? I hope they do come around for your sake man! Even to me it feels like I've been waiting for ages since a headline show, while in fact I saw them two years ago. Really waiting on European dates, planning on going to a few if money allows.

I wonder if they will play other SA countries before Rock in Rio, if not, they already have from, maybe, Sept 28 to Oct 1? before Red Rocks. My guess is they will stop in Argentina and go back to the States.

It's so weird seeing how the band's twitter is asking for more money, for their ACLU benefit gig.

The new radio interview with Mike is on their twitter. Chino is not on 8 but is a separate collaboration. He says it will be released at some point.

Unclear if it's an Incubus song or a side-project kind of thing.

Also, interesting Mike says INNW puts him to sleep. I'd imagine that out of all the band members he and Brandon would have the most love for that album. Guess not.

Why is this weird? I mean it is a benefit, so of course they're gonna want to raise as much money as they can for it.

I thought this was interesting too. I mean, we know that the two of them basically write all of the core music and present it to the rest of the band later, you would think he liked it. Maybe it's because the music was all lovey dovey and Brandon is no longer in the relationship that inspired that music and Mike is just being Mama Bear and hating on INNW because of that. I mean, this album seems pretty bitter already, I wouldn't be surprised if Mike doesn't like the music anymore because it's like a kind of betrayal of what that music meant?

Or they are finally aknowledging that INNW was written not out of actual inspiration but out of just wanting to get the contract with Sony (as far as I remember it was their last contractual obligation with them). Which would explain why the album is so lackluster.

Well, I don't know.

INNW was a logical follow-up to singles such as Love Hurts or Dig. Those are the most popular on LG.

I think all fans were disappointed and they tried their best to create some rock songs again on trustfall and 8.

Let's see the result in a few weeks.

I see what you mean, but you could also argue that the label was behind them releasing those songs as singles. Unfortunately there is no real way of knowing, but to me the band never really seemed super into INNW, not seeming super enthused and not playing much of it live. The comments now from Mike just accentuate that.

Anyway, I agree, we will see what comes out of 8, but so far it is promising.

It will be interesting to see what, if any, INNW songs make the cut on the summer tour. I have a feeling they'll still do "Adolescents" (even though it's MURDER on Brandon's voice) but, with so many new songs from 8 to mix in , "ITCOW" may not make the cut, especially since it's so long.

I don't think anyone would be sad to see "Promises" go. LOL!!

Worst Incubus song ever, in my opinion.

Well, he may be genuinly disenchanted with what the album is. Even in 2012 they started to play less of the songs live and in 2015, only ITCOW was a regular and Adolescents was in rotation. If Not Now When and Promises were rarities that year. I doubt they'll play much of it on the upcoming tour.

I highly doubt any INNW tracks will make the cut with their new tour. 'Adolescents' at an absolute push.

When you imagine they'll be showcasing a lot of the new material, along with the more popular hits from their back catalog and perhaps the odd surprise, it's difficult to justify any of the INNW tracks being in the set list.

I can't even see Wolves being played very often and that's one of the most frequently played songs off that album. From the samples of the new record, a few of the tracks on there seem to have similar pacing, so you'd guess they will be ahead of that in this tour.

Interesting comments from Mike, though.

Because in the past they never said multiple times about a foundation's goal. Maybe it's the fact that we didn't had twitter back then.

As for Mike's comments on INNW, yeah i found them interesting and funny. He and Brandon did said during the HQ shows that it was their best album.

I have always wanted to see an interview were they talk about each album to see what they think of them now.

That would be awesome! Their albums are so different from each other, and even within an album, their sound varies song to song. That's a big part of what I love about them.

I would love for someone to ask each member of the band what their perfect setlist would be: if they had to fill a 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hr setlist, any song off any of the 8 studio albums, what would they pick? I'm sure we'd get some unexpected answers.

Noisey does these ranking the albums with bands from time to time. Would be fun to see one with Incubus.

I'd be bummed if I never saw Adolescents or the title track again but that pretty much it from INNW.
