The Idler Wheel wrote:I feel bad for fans who booked flights/hotels for the residency, but shows get postponed/cancelled all the time, under less dire circumstances. Also, they were not the only act that cancelled shows last week and this week. Kings of Leon decided to play and that's great. They made the decision they felt was appropriate for them, their road crew and their fans. Incubus did the same.

I'm not saying fans don't have a right to be upset. I'm sure a lot of people saved up and planned months in advance, tying it into birthday celebrations, anniversaries, maybe even marriage proposals. I'm sure it hurts a lot. But, for all we know, someone in the band or crew may have had a personal connection to one of the victims in the shooting. It may not be as black and white as people think.

Terrible situation no matter how you spin it. I wouldn't hold it against the band though. They did what they felt was right knowing some people would not be happy. That's hard to do

I actually know someone who was at Vegas during the shooting, and maybe 6-7 other people who were traveling to Vegas for the shows and none of them were upset and understanding of their decision. It was tough, and like Idler Wheel said, we don't know who may be affected. And there were quite a bit of cancelled shows, so it's not like they're the only ones.

The Australian venues are the same size as the last headlining tour they did in 2012, but the NZ venues are a lot bigger. One is 10,000 and the other is 14,000. I really hope they can fill them out, tickets are a pricey $96NZD ($66USD). The tour is getting a bit of hype here, which is great, but they're being reported as a bit of a 90's nostalgia act.

All that said, presale starts tomorrow and I'll be grabbing my tickets. Can't wait for my fourth show!

Have fun! I hope they sell out as well, but 90s nostalgia? I've always considered them more 2000s than anything. they didn't reach the peak of their popularity until after the 90:s. Oh well it isn't a big deal I'm just curious what others think

Love what Brandon said about A Crow Left Of The Murder.

I'm expecting it to be June/July actually, with a bunch of festival shows... I suspect they'll do a handful of dates in the US in April/May, with some of the rock festival sprinkled in between. They still need to make up for their Vegas Residency too, so that could be a part of that.

Glad to see Vegas is back. I wonder how many people will end up going back or will they be new attendees.
