Is it selfish that I'm thinking: shit, this probably means that there will be another long break after this cycle? It probably is.
Can't they travel as a family ??
I'm guessing Incubus travel and live in luxury on tours ?!?

I keep waiting for them to have another worldwide hit song kinda like Drive , just to throw them into the limelight with the likes of the Chilli Pepps and other well known rock groups .
Incubus are my favourite group of all time and yet in the Uk I seem to be the only one who's ever even heard of them !
Seems a long interview is coming on Scuzz. Could be interesting.
EDIT: it's funny to see how Brandon can be a total artsy, snobbish dude in interviews, but also can cry laughing because he drew a goat with a boner. https://www.instagram.com/p/BTbToq_Dpml/
Let us know if you hear when the interview is gonna be shown on Scuzz please .

If they absolutely had to add it, why not at least make it like a secret track at the end or something, not right in the mdidle of the album?
I like the new album and that's even after a couple of listens but given that they revisited the Trustfall EP songs when they recorded the 8 album I just can't understand why they didn't include Trustfall and Absolution Calling in the album especially as they've included that 'joke' track and the instrumental which could have been the bonus track.
tingky wrote:The drums in particular has sounded horrible since the Trust Fall EP. Maybe it has something to do with the actual instruments themselves and how it was mic'd?
That's not only Incubus, other bands also release materials with bad sounding drums, as if they are distorted or flattened so they aren't in "the way" of other instruments/vocals. I guess this is how you record it these days.
I really hope this changes soon.
I recall the out cry at the drum sound on Metallica's St Anger album . Seem to recall they sounded as though they'd used upside down bins .... that said the LIVE version of the album that came free with the album sounded great to me .
