The interview was too short, but I'm guessing as they have given kroq the first play, that they won't be allowed to play the new song, the other artist had performed songs live for this show, which has me wondering if incubus have shot a video for Nimble Bastard yet!? Would be cool if they dropped a video for the song straight after the radio play of it (not just a lyric video).

I have to admit I thought it was bizarre that they played sons of the sea when Brandon is talking about new incubus.

I can't wait for the new album, since the announcement I've been listening to so much incubus, literally going back through all their releases, and listen through LG and INNW from start to finish for the first time in a long time too. I have been reminded why I love this band.

Same here. That seems to be my routine whenever Incubus releases something, though the past few years the gaps between periods of Incubus-obsession have become longer. Very excited for Friday, though I'm trying to keep my expectations in check.

And I would be surprised if this was the whole interview. As a journalist myself, I know how many hours of work can go into what seems short and tiny pieces of output, but a minute and a half seems to be too little for an interview at someone's house.

I have that same routine and I feel glad to still love each of these albums.

I was 16 when Morning View came out, and this was my first Incubus love affair. I'm still excited AF 15 years later.
Growing with them, the evolution of my music tastes makes me think now that ACLOTM is definitely their best effort.

Can't wait to hear what these guys in their 40's can do now.

Going back to my own comment on if incubus are shooting a video for nimble bastard, I just came across these posts on instagram...

Image

you could say this has no relation but he also posted this...

Image

could be nothing...

Julian did some great looking footage of the band last tour, hopefully he can smash a video for them too!

As long as it doesn't have synchronized dance routines, I'm cool. I'm looking at you, Absolution Calling. (Though I have only watched the video once when it came out)

Also: did you guys know that Spotify has a This Is:- playlist dedicated to Incubus? https://open.spotify.com/user/spotify/p ... 6evO2jFgWc

Synchronized dance routines LOL    hopefully never again! Absolution Calling video is a bit Grease. However the videography is actually really good (having just watched it again). Hopefully they have some good direct from 'Nimble Bastard' it's self. Megalomanic comes to mind, the video was amazing because it had loads of meaning to it which related to the song. But they might just do a performance for a video. I also think lyric videos are a bit of a waste of time.

I noticed the other day that Spotify is making 'This Is' play lists for a lot of artists now, nice to have when putting music on at work.

First clip of Nimble Bastard! Sounds... good- even though it's Mike singing it in his car.

If he's not joking and actually mimicking the actual song, it sounds like it's going to be a high tempo track. A bit worried about this but we shall see

So that means around 17.00 tomorrow I'll have to find a link to listen to KROQ online in the Netherlands. Hell yeah.

And why worried about a high tempo track, Tingky? Don't you think they'll be able to pull it off, or something that doesn't tickle your fancy?

I'm a sucker and want to hear the interview too. And just the first time we're able to hear it. Incubus is the only band where I go to such great lengths.

I do not want to annoy anyone in here. But the song(s) in the background of the art interview with brandon are still not clear, right?

I know I have heard one of them before as they play it on my favorite hockey team's network(MSG) in NY. Which means they could be generic background songs. The one I was interested in came in the very intro of the entire video, but some mention it may be Sons of the Sea.
