Fuck yeah! The Netherlands, Utrecht. TivoliVredenburg, a venue 5 minutes from my house by bike. And after my holiday. I'm incredibly happy right now.

Edit: Completely over the moon because of this news. Really didn't expect a headline show in the Netherlands, and if so I expected it in Amsterdam. I saw numerous bands at this venue in Utrecht, including Soundgarden and it's great. You are always close to the stage, sound is top notch. Now hoping for Ebay-tickets.

Same here, really happy they're doing a proper headline tour. Really wasn't expecting that due to the timing of it all. And Utrecht on a saturday, it's perfect.

I've been to a lot of shows in the netherlands but never at Tivoli's. Is it a great venue ?

It really is. The Ronda, the room they're playing, is really wide. Your always close to the stage and the sound has never been bad there. Saw many acts there; Soundgarden, Biffy Clyro, Jose Gonzalez, Frank Turner.

The venue itself is a pretty big building, with not a lot of character. But there's a decent restaurant on the ground floor and a bunch of good restaurants in the same street. Feel free to ask if you need any tips.

Any word on if there will be VIP passes from MYF again? I don't know if I should buy normal tickets right away or wait and ses if I can get MYF ones

I admit, laziness (or being broke because I was a student by the time) kept me away from the MYF packages.
I met the band many times but only around their tourbus or at aftershow parties.

How does it work ?
Is it an auction or just a few packages available on the MYF website ?
What are the prices ?

I can see 200$ for South American concerts, which sounds reasonable.

In my previous experience the European VIP packages don't go for crazy high prices, one time they were even cheaper than the normal tickets.

EU fans aren't that well-informed/dedicated when it comes to the MYF auctions, so sometimes the starting price, is the price for which you'll get it (or something close to that).

I've never met them around the bus or at parties though, which sounds a lot cooler. The pre-show M&G itself isn't so interesting, though it's cool to shake hands and I'd be lying if I wouldn't be excited for it if I do end up getting tickets, but what I like best about the M&G tickets is the early access to the venue, which means front row!

In 2004, they were playing football in the field next to the venue when we arrived. We had the chance to have some great talks with them.

When Ben Kenney played in Cologne in 2013, he spent the whole night in the bar with us drinking beers and chatting.

Every exhibit of Brandon I've been to, he has always been very responsive and available to chat and have a drink with people. So was Baelyn with who I spent a night talking.

Yeah, I chatted with Brandon a bit during his exhibition in Amsterdam, but mostly woman really jumped him. I was a little too timid to have a real chat with him.

And that 2004 story is great, haha! When I saw Ben in Amsterdam in 2013, he didn't come out afterwards to the merch table. I really wanted him to sign the records I bought, but oh well.
