Re: What happens next?

Pretty sure they'll take a few weeks/months to do their own thing, which for Ben is usually working on music outside Incubus. So that's probably gonna be the Supergrub thing. The band has said on multiple occasions they plan on writing over the holidays, so with that in mind I don't expect them to w...

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

The tease from the bridge in Vitamin, they did in 2015, was so sick. It would be awesome if they did that transition for real. From Vitamin into New Skin, that would make old school fans go nuts.

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

Good to hear man! And though I really like State of the Art, I kinda agree with you about the live-version.

Also: first show since the early 2016 shows where they played two songs from SCIENCE!

Re: Manchester Apollo Sat 8th Sept 2018

I'd say it's the time the doors open, Incubus usually goes on at 8:45/9:00. However, I'd advice to go check out Ecca Vandal. They are great openers, really. Perhaps the best I've seen, even though I wouldn't listen to her album a lot, but their energy and the way they play the room is great. Really ...

Re: News and Updates

Pretty sure it will either be a handful of shows in the US to celebrate the album and/or a re-release of the record with some bonus-material: Crowded, demos, acoustic versions etc. Maybe even some alternate versions of songs (Drive, piano verison)?

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

Again in Paris. @Nicubus: I get what you were saying. I was glad I saw Calgone/Need You Tonight in Cologne, got Glitterbomb in Munich. I understand missing out on Calgone sucks, haha. Does anyone else find it a shame that we get snippets of the band rehearsing songs like Nimble and Surveillance duri...

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

Saw you post on reddit. Setlist was different in three ways from the night before, that's the most change we've seen from the band this European tour.

The Warmth in Cologne. I thought it sounded fantastic yesterday and this video underlines that. They used the 2017 piano/ambient intro, and as soon as Kil hit the first notes I knew it was The Warmth and was ecstatic.

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

The Warmth in Cologne! Big surprise for me, which was great since the rest of the set was what we knew. Band sounded really good (heavier than last time I saw them, I think), crowd was really into it. Pretty big pit during Calgone, which I wasn't expecting since all the videos I've seen of the song ...

Correct, only song yet to be played. And it has grown on me a lot, really high on my list for this album.

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

I can't find a video anywhere. I doubt they played the whole song. I more or less expect it to be a crowd chant the band picked up, much like the chant at the Chile show in.2010.

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

Yeah, on paper that looks like a weird closing song for me too. But I'll see how it works this week. And while 8 is far from my favorite album by the band, but I would love to hear some tracks of it. Mostly songs they have abandoned already: Surveillance, Throw Out The Map, Familiar Faces. But I exp...

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/incubus/2018/vilar-de-mouros-caminha-portugal-2be8c4f6.html So after not playing Nimble Bastard at any European shows so far, they only played No Fun from 8 at yesterday's festival show (and I haven't found any videos of songs from 8 at the switzerland festival). This ...

Re: '8' - Album discussion

Funny to watch the studio videos back, the ones they posted before the album release. Apparently there used to be a line in Glitterbomb that went: 'The road to hell is paved with good intentions'. https://www.instagram.com/p/BR0uLqRl1L_/?taken-by=incubusofficial And a song called Connect the Dots? I...

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

No surprises in the Berlin set (except maybe it being the second show in a row where Nimble Bastard seems to be dropped), but this review is pretty negative. https://www.rbb24.de/kultur/beitrag/2018/08/incubus-fruehkritik-berlin-columbiahalle.html Brandon not at his best (makes sense, he was sick), ...

Re: News and Updates

A common cold can be shaken with a good day or two of rest. I've read good things about their Pukkelpop set too, but as soon as I saw the setlist, I was surprised by the ommission of Nimble Bastard, a song Brandon always struggles with and one.of the first I would expect them to drop if he has throa...
