Re: News and Updates

I always wonder if they will do that, and they never do. Maybe rightly so, as they have faith in their own strengths, but I'm pretty sure they would go down a lot better if they throw in two SCIENCE songs in their set and at least on MY non-single, like Privilege and The Warmth.

Re: News and Updates

My guess would be that Incubus plays a little bit shorter than usual, say 16 songs instead of 19, so between 1:15 and 1:30. SOAD plays monster sets (35 songs when I saw them, 2 full hours) and they are the main event for this show.

Re: '8' - Album discussion

This was the version that was first released, then the band went back into the studio and re-mixed the song (and most of the album) with Sonny/Skrillex.

Re: News and Updates

The Idler Wheel wrote:SOAD and Incubus together again confirmed. Awesome! I didn't think it would be at that amphitheater, though. That venue is HUGE. Wow!!

Is that venue really 65.000 capacity? So this is a like a one day festival I guess?

And also Aftershock Festival. With SOAD, Deftones, Alice In Chains, 311, At the Drive In and more. So all the bands lots of Incubus want to see with them (save for AIC I guess).

Re: News and Updates

Yeah, that seems like a likely option. But would they be doing a full tour with them or a one-off show or short run? I wonder.

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

Yeah, this is almost a sort of stock Incubus set. Except maybe for the fact that it has A Certain Shade of Green and it contains no new songs, but besides that this is almost the standard Incubus set.

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

After the show I found out that the joint will be closing in 2019 after Branson bought the hotel. Crazy! So many good incubus shows there. In light of this (and being super bored), I decided to figure out what the average set list of 15 Incubus-shows at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas would look like....

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

Really, Vitamin would've been the show closer? That would've made that a pretty epic two song encore.

Just noticed they skipped Glitterbomb on the first night of this weekend, I think that's the first time since the album release that it wasnt played at a regular show.

Still a pretty good set, can.imagine ITCOW is a buzzkill. And ending on Drive, I'm not sure about that.

Re: 2017-2018 Setlists [Spoilers]

Great set, also When I Became A Man? I saw that on setlist.fm

Prediction for tonight, if the trend continues: Quicksand/Kiss opener, The Warmth, Pistola and a small chance of Calgone (was on the setlist of the first Vegas night).

Re: News and Updates

Fairly sure they'll do a UK Headline show, especially if they get booked for Reading/Leeds. I can also really imagine a German headline show, since I have the feeling that Germany still really digs music from Incubus' peak era. I can only hope they do a Dutch headline show, since I know Brandon love...

Re: News and Updates

Yeah, the timing couldn't be worse for me as I'll be on holiday from 23 july to 13th of August. Also, as a European fan I would feel a little hard done by if again we would get mainly festival shows, as we've only had two headline shows (London, Milan) in the past six(!) years and only a handful of ...
