Re: '8' - Album discussion

State of the Art sounds like a Sons of the Sea song. Not a fan as I find Sons of the Sea to be generic and boring. Brandon's voice sounds great on this track, but otherwise it sounds like radio rock

Re: 2017 US Tour with Jimmy Eat World

So I saw some people at reddit who thought that JEW would get the same amount of stage time as Incubus. But will they really? I can't imagine they will, JEW have never been as big as Incubus, right? Re: '8' - Album discussion

State of the Art and Undefeated are two of the most generic and boring Incubus songs I have heard. They reek of INNW sap to me. Really digging pretty much everything else especially Throw Out the Map.

Re: News and Updates

I don't really understand the Dubstep fear. Skrillex was in From First to Last for a long time and certainly has rock sensibilities and the new From First to Last song certainly wasn't dubstep'd out. With the production of Nimble Bastard I think there is certainly room to improve.

Re: Metric

I actually saw them recently and was rather underwhelmed. I liked the stuff they had on the Scott Pilgrim soundtrack, but the singer did that weird thing where she played with the syllables in the choruses and it just sounded weird. Good production and a decent stage presence, but overall I found my...
